Elite Kayak Fishing Tournament + Demo Day

Freak Sports is proud to be hosting the Yak Hunters Wilderness System Elite Kayak Fishing Tournament at Ewen Maddock Dam, Sunshine Coast on 28 January.

We are excited to join forces with Yak Hunters to support this premier fishing event. In the first Queensland tournament, the key species fished will be bass. Freak Sports will be providing $1500 worth of in-store vouchers as prizes for the tournament.

We will also be bringing selected kayaks for you to demo on the day and be on hand to answer any of your kayak and accessory questions.

There will be a free BBQ and your chance to win some awesome giveaways on the day.

Registrations for the first tournament have sold out, however you can still come along to spectate, paddle, fish or just to say g’day to us and the team at Yak Hunters.

The event kicks off at 6am on Sunday 28 January and will finish up at around 3pm.
