Over the past decade, Freak Sports has grown from a local adventure gear store into one of Australia’s most trusted online destinations for kayak, boat fishing, and outdoor equipment. 💻 We Are Now an Online-Only Business

As of mid-2025, we’ve officially transitioned from operating a physical retail store to becoming a 100% online business. This move allows us to better focus on expanding our range, improving nationwide delivery, and offering you even more competitive prices — no matter where in Australia you adventure.

While we no longer offer in-store browsing or pickups, you can still shop the full range online, get fast dispatch, and enjoy the same quality gear that’s earned your trust over the years.

🙏 A Tough Season for Our Team

You may have noticed a few delays in recent weeks — and we want to acknowledge that.

Behind the scenes, we’ve experienced some major transitions. Several long-standing team members have recently moved on, and one of our foundational technical contributors, who helped build and run our site for over 10 years, sadly passed away. On top of that, a serious accident involving one of our company leaders left them severely injured, though they are on the path to a slow and hopefully full recovery.

This unexpected combination of events deeply impacted our small but passionate team — and for that, we sincerely apologise if you’ve experienced slower service, delayed shipments, or reduced support.

We’re actively rebuilding, re-training, and working around the clock to restore the level of service you expect from us:
