Busted Fishing Line Winder for Overhead and Spin Reels

At the heart of the Busted Fishing Line Winder is a cnc machined gearbox with brass gears that provide the required torque to make it possible to use a standard 18v cordless drill. It is possible to spool overhead reels up to 80W size, right down to small overheads.

The cnc machined chuck has replaceable rubber pads and together with the rubber cone makes spooling spin reel spools a breeze. It’s a perfect addition to the Bee’s Knees Reel Spooler which you can also find at Busted Fishing. This unit is made from primarily anodized aluminium and stainless steel, weighing in at 5.3kg, so shipping may be a little expensive but it’s a lifetime investment to get your reels spooled tight to prevent line digging in.
